Hi and welcome! I’m Rabbi Ovadia Haboucha.

About 8 years ago, I felt a calling to follow in the ways of my late father. He was a certified Mohel of great fame and was known in the Middle-East as an expert in his field. I had the privilege in assisting him perform circumcisions, but never pursued this field seriously.

Becoming a Mohel (circumcision expert) requires rigorous training. I was determined to learn from the best and sought out Rabbi S. Gelber - a scion of one of the premier Mohel families in Israel to be my guide. He schooled me in the tried-and-tested traditional techniques that have been successfully used in circumcisions for centuries. From there, I traveled to England to further my training under the tutelage of Ephraim Josovic, Dean of The London School of Circumcision. It is there that I was introduced to the latest methods in hemostasis as well as gaining experience in performing adult circumcisions. Indeed, I have been fortunate to gain a great balance of traditional methods with the latest, most updated, techniques medicine has to offer. As well, I am endorsed by The Vaad Harabonim; Toronto's Orthodox Rabbinical Council.
